I want to share a personal story that changed my perspective on divorce and showed me the power of faith. Like many of you, I faced a difficult decision to end a marriage that had become harmful. In my lowest moments, I turned to prayer and scripture for guidance.
One verse, Isaiah 43:18-19, became my anchor: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." These words reminded me that God was with me, guiding me towards a new beginning.
As I searched for answers on whether or not divorce was biblical, I came across the concept of Unauthorized Marriages. It challenged my beliefs about marriage and helped me understand that not every union is created by God and thus meant to last. Amanda Nicole's book, "Revelations of the Heart," echoed this message, offering comfort and clarity.
Her insights into the concept of Unauthorized Marriages provided me with a newfound sense of clarity and empowerment. By acknowledging that not every marriage is ordained by God, I was able to release the shame and guilt associated with the decision to end my union. Instead, I embraced the truth that God desires for us to live inside of His ordained will, plan, and purpose for our lives, and sometimes we find ourselves in marriage's and toxic relationship that aren't apart of it.
As you journey through divorce considering, facing, or surviving divorcing, lean on your faith for hope and guidance. I pray that you will find peace in knowing that God walks with us through every trial, leading us towards a brighter tomorrow.
